As a result there was no other place in the world that I could think of than to return to the romantic city of Paris to celebrate my wedding anniversary.    <\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_11175\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/A-View-To-Wake-Up-To.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11175\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/A-View-To-Wake-Up-To.jpg\" alt=\"A View To Wake Up To\" width=\"290\" height=\"195\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11175\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-11175\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A View To Wake Up To<\/p><\/div>When deciding on the perfect hotel for our stay in Paris I immediately knew I wanted a view of the Op\u00c3\u00a9ra Garnier.  The Op\u00c3\u00a9ra Garnier, the opera house inspired the fictional play Phantom of the Opera.  An added bonus was the fact that the Phantom of the Opera is my favorite Broadway play.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_11176\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Evening-View.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11176\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Evening-View.jpg\" alt=\"Evening View\" width=\"225\" height=\"270\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11176\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-11176\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Evening View<\/p><\/div><br \/>\nOur opera house view room was located on the second floor with an amazing view of the Op\u00c3\u00a9ra Garnier.  The amazingly beautiful view of the opera house brought tears to my eyes the first time we walked into our room.  The view of the Op\u00c3\u00a9ra Garnier at night was breathtaking.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_11177\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Cappuccino.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11177\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Cappuccino.jpg\" alt=\"Cappuccino\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11177\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-11177\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cappuccino<\/p><\/div>Our mornings began each day with breakfast at the Caf\u00c3\u00a9 de la Paix which opened in 1862.  The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of items such as eggs, bacon, fruits, breads, etc. along with the availability of specialty omelet orders by the chef.   <\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_11178\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Ballroom.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11178\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Ballroom.jpg\" alt=\"Ballroom\" width=\"300\" height=\"184\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11178\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-11178\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ballroom<\/p><\/div> We found the La Verri\u00c3\u00a8re, winter garden, to be a relaxing area to have a cup of cappuccino and a meal.  A drink at the lobby bar was equally as relaxing after a long day of sightseeing and shopping.<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_11179\" style=\"width: 258px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/La-Verri\u00c3\u00a8re-Winter-Garden.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11179\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/La-Verri\u00c3\u00a8re-Winter-Garden.jpg\" alt=\"La Verri\u00c3\u00a8re, (Winter Garden)\" width=\"248\" height=\"300\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11179\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-11179\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">La Verri\u00c3\u00a8re, (Winter Garden)<\/p><\/div><br \/>\nDuring our flight to Paris my luggage was damaged.  I did not know the extent of the damage until we arrived at the hotel.   Before checking out of the hotel I went to the concierge desk to request tape to ensure that no further damage would be done during our upcoming flights.  The head concierge without hesitation found sturdy tape and personally taped my luggage.    <\/p>\n<p>Paris will always hold a special place in my heart as well as the view of the Op\u00c3\u00a9ra Garnier which helped to make our stay as memorable as we had hoped it would be!<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paris has always held a special place in my heart.
