Having been a huge fan of <a href=\" https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/?p= 2198\"> The Oprah Winfrey Show<\/a> for years, I was aware of Chef Art Smith from his numerous appearances on her daytime show and other cooking shows. Chef Art Smith was Oprah Winfrey\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s personal chef for many years. I remember reading the sign \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Art and Soul\u00e2\u20ac\u009d as we walked by knowing that I had heard the name before. It was only until we got to the end of the block that I remembered it was Chef Art Smith\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s restaurant. I immediately said &#8220;we have got to have lunch there&#8221;. We turned around and went back. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/?attachment_id=6570\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6570\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-6570\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/ArtandSoulEntrance.jpg\" alt=\"Art and Soul Entrance\" width=\"468\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/?attachment_id=6571\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6571\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-6571\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scenicrunway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/ArtandSoulLunchMeal.jpg\" alt=\"Art and Soul Lunch Meal\" width=\"470\" height=\"340\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nMy first impression upon walking into Art and Soul was that of comfort. The environment is relaxing and comfortable. The service was excellent. While enjoying our lunch we received a surprise visit from Chef Art Smith himself. I was so taken aback that I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t remember if I said hello or not. I do remember saying to him as he stood in front of our booth \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I know you, I have been a fan of yours for years\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. His response was \u00e2\u20ac\u0153you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re so sweet\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, we chatted briefly about the inauguration, he then shook our hands and said &#8220;enjoy your meal&#8221;. The fact that he would come over to our booth and welcome us into his restaurant was so amazing!
