While running errands recently in New York City, I found myself standing in front of a Louis Vuitton store admiring the items in the display window. After a few minutes, I suddenly remembered that I had an appointment in less than an hour. During the cab ride to my appointment, I could not stop thinking about the Louis Vuitton travel bags. After my appointment I hailed a cab and headed back across town. As we traveled on the FDR Drive, I debated whether or not I should return to the Louis Vuitton store. I reminded myself that I already had beautiful weekend bags in my closet and didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t need another one. I realized that this was not a need but a want.<\/p>\n

A few short hours after I first found myself standing in front of the window display, I had actually made my way inside the store. The manager of the store and I began a brief conversation. I mentioned that I had been admiring the travel bags. She took out a few bags from the display case to show me. I knew at that moment that I was not going to leave the store empty handed. I eventually decided on the Carryall weekend bag. I did in fact leave the store empty handed because of the personalization, I had requested.
