The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza (Dallas, Texas)

History, North America

One of the many benefits of traveling is learning about history. During a visit to Dallas, TX last week, I had the opportunity to visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza formerly known as the Texas School Book Depository. The location in which shots were fired which resulted in the death of the 35th President of the United States, President John F. Kennedy in 1963. Opened in 1989, the Sixth Floor Museum highlights the impact of the tragedy of President Kennedy’s death on the nation and the world.

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of that tragic day in November 1963.
