Scenic Runway

No trip to the Atlantis Resort is complete without a visit to The Dig. A series of interconnected tunnels and chambers with archaeological ruins depicting the Lost City of Atlantis and underwater marine life exhibits.

I found myself fascinated by the vibrant colors of the marine life through the oversized glass and the cave like feel. We were fortunate enough to have a tour guide during our visit. Without our tour guide, I honestly believe we would have gotten lost within the various exhibits.
I especially enjoyed the Jellyfish and Seahorse Exhibits. We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the underwater glass tunnel which gave us the sense of being in the water with the marine life.

One of the most enjoyable flights I ever had was an evening flight over the English Channel. The English Channel is the arm of the Atlantic Ocean between France and Great Britain. The weather was calm and visibility was clear which allowed me to see the lights below while flying to London from France. This was one of the many moments that I truly felt blessed to have the means to travel!

Spring brings the opportunity to go outside and enjoy nature.

Located on the northeast shore on the island of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts is the town of Oak Bluffs. One of the many things Oak Bluffs is known for are its charming “gingerbread cottages”. This summer resort also has amazingly beautiful beaches and scenic views!

Located in Nice, France is the Promenade des Anglais. Whether taking a stroll or relaxing on a bench on the Promenade, along the Mediterranean sea in the South of France, we found the experience absolutely magical!

The Foxwoods Resort and Casino (the largest resort casino in North America) is located in Mashantucket, Connecticut. The Foxwoods Resort and Casino is owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. Our stay at the Fox Tower included enjoying delicious meals at the various restaurants within The Foxwoods, attending the Kathy Griffin Show, casino hopping (we actually won a little money) and of course visiting the outlet to do as much shopping as possible!
