Scenic Runway

Located a few minutes outside of Washington, DC is the historic town of Alexandria, Virginia, founded in 1749. As travel writers, Alexandria impressed us with its historic past, friendly people and its easy access to Old Towne and the Waterfront. The shops on King Street are a mixture of retail chains as well as boutiques and antique shops. Before our visit was complete we discussed when we would be making a return visit!
