Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing Tours

14 November, 2016 (06:33) | Travel Options, Vacation Ideas

Sightseeing Tours

Every traveler has their own unique way of exploring a new country and/or city. Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing Tours allows the traveler to explore a city at their own pace, personal earphones are normally provided to hear recorded commentary of sites while targeting tourist attractions of the city you are visiting. I have found these types of tours interesting. The open top double decker buses have provided me with unique angles for photos during my travels in Rome, Chicago, Málaga, London, Paris, Miami, Corsica, Los Angeles, etc. In some cases, I have discovered information on cities that I would have never known before!

Café du Monde

27 October, 2016 (05:31) | Cuisine, North America

We arrived in New Orleans late on Friday evening. Our first stop early Saturday morning was Café du Monde for coffee and beignets! The beignets were served hot with plenty of powdered sugar. The powdered sugar tended to be a little messy but certainly delicious. I noticed that some customers were actually eating the powdered sugar after they finished their beignets, it was that good!

During our visit to New Orleans last week, we wanted to try food local to the area, such as red beans and rice. During our research, Mother’s Restaurant kept coming up. So we had to check it out!
