Dining on Ocean Drive (South Beach, Miami)
We decided to have lunch at Larios where we were invited to select our desired sitting. We selected seating in the outdoor area closest to Ocean Drive in the direction of the beach. The weather was a little chilly on the day of our arrival in Miami, I was certainly glad I packed a cardigan. The food along with the lively atmosphere of Ocean Drive made for an enjoyable lunch experience in South Beach!
A Visit to Rome, Italy
Rome the capital and the largest city in Italy is located in the Lazio region. Known as the “Eternal Cityâ€, Rome is situated on the River Tiber. The Vatican City, inside Rome, is an independent state presided over by the Pope. When you think of Rome some of the many major tourist attractions normally come to mind such as the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, museums and amazing shopping. Rome is all of that and so much more in combining the past with the present. Near the Spanish steps is the shopping area called Via dei Condotti where many well known designers have luxury boutiques.
During our visit to Rome we visited the world famous tourist attractions as well as open air markets and small boutiques. While shopping in one of the smaller boutiques in Rome I was able to purchase an absolutely beautiful patent leather Valentino handbag. In another smaller boutique we were able to purchase Italian dress shirts. The service and conversation we received in the smaller boutiques was excellent. The sales clerk was kind enough to provide us with the suggestions on where to have lunch. The gelato after lunch was delicious which made for a perfect way to end a pleasant shopping and lunch experience in Rome.
Unfinished Church (St. George, Bermuda)
Located in St. George, Bermuda, the Unfinished Church was intended to replace St. Peter’s Church. Construction of the church began in 1874 but for various reasons was halted and never completed.
Neckar River (Heidelberg, Germany)
While in Heidelberg, Germany we walked along the banks of the Neckar River which originates from the Black Forest to Mannheim before flowing into the Rhine. The view made for an amazing picture!
Fashionable Shoes
One of the things that I love to do at Fashion Week is to “shoe watch”! Below are a few of the beautiful footwear that caught my eye during New York Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Week!

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015
Fashion Week in New York City is always amazing! It is truly a celebration of fashion as well as a chance to people watch. Fashion Week is definitely a place to be seen. The designers have a chance to showcase their beautiful designs for the Spring/Summer 2015 season. But I found myself admiring the street fashion as well as the fashion of the celebrities who attended the fashion shows.

Fashion Week is also a chance to meet fashion bloggers, stylists, makeup artists as well as other fashion professionals. I stayed at the lovely Empire Hotel directly across from Lincoln Center which enabled me to just run across the street to my room in order to make dress changes as needed during the day. I absolutely love the anticipation and excitement of Fashion Week!
