View of the Cherry Blossoms from the National Museum of African American History! During our visit to the National Museum of African American History, we were able to view the recently discovered portrait of a young Harriet Tubman.

While in downtown Washington, DC today, I noticed a film crew. I asked someone in the crew “what was going on” he told me they were making a “commercial”. That was not true, they were filming Amazon Video’s Jack Ryan starring John Krasinski. You never know what you will see on Pennsylvania Avenue!

While in Arlington, Virginia just minutes from Washington, DC, I noticed a collection of bikes. As well as the words “Judge Less“, which is a message we all should consider!

Each Friday from May to October the USDA Farmers Market is open to the public.

Every Friday at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, approved artists within the Copyist Program are allowed to copy famous works of art located within the gallery. What an amazing opportunity for artists to study from the masters of art.
