The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first official overseas trip was to Ireland. The Duchess of Sussex’s fashion choices did not disappoint. Duchess Meghan’s outfits were from fashion designers such as Dior, Givenchy, Emilia Wickstead and Roland Mouret. These fashion designers are out of reach for many but with a little time and research there are ways to copy her style at a cheaper price.

Located a few minutes outside of Washington, DC is the historic town of Alexandria, Virginia, founded in 1749. As travel writers, Alexandria impressed us with its historic past, friendly people and its easy access to Old Towne and the Waterfront. The shops on King Street are a mixture of retail chains as well as boutiques and antique shops. Before our visit was complete we discussed when we would be making a return visit! Below are a few photos taken during our visit to this beautiful city!

Wonder Woman 1984 filming took over streets in Georgetown and downtown Washington, DC in mid June. Street closures were common during the filming in Washington, DC. It is rare to be able to stand in Pennsylvania Ave and not have to worry about traffic. A portion of Pennsylvania Ave in front of the National Archives Building was closed while filming was taking place. Below are a few pictures taken on Friday evening during setup and filming on Saturday and Sunday of Wonder Woman 1984.

Located in the former Pension Bureau building, The National Building Museum is architecturally beautiful with its Corinthian columns. Built in 1887, this National Historic Landmark has been used as office space for the United States Pension Bureau as well as hosting presidential inaugural balls.
The National Building Museum is an amazing example of the Renaissance Revival architecture.
